After art school I got my start working the convention circuit as part of GenCon's art show. That genre of work has always felt the most like home to me. It expanded my skills and abilities and I've been working as a freelance illustrator and designer since 2001. In 2007 I started a new venture drawing and painting caricatures and dogicatures since 2007. Most of my work has been for small businesses creating illustrations and characters to represent their advertising and identity needs along with private commissions. I've worked both independently and as a part of a creative team sometimes with an art director and sometimes performing the role of design consultant. In caricature I work both in the studio and performing live in front of an audience. I'm seeking to expand my skill set once again and join an industry that captures my imagination and provides me the creative challenge that I need while being a member of a creative team.
